Getting around the house
The ground floor, with its reception rooms, private apartments, and winter garden, is all on one level. The double-revolution staircase is the house’s showpiece, but it’s not the only way to go up: the elevator leads to the upper floor, where you’ll find the Sculpture Room, the Florentine Room, and the Venetian Room. Before you visit
Wheelchairs are available on loan by advance reservation by phone at 01 45 62 11 59. Free admission is granted upon presentation of a valid card, both at the ticket counter and the entrance. Tickets must still be purchased from the museum, never on this site or on GetYourGuide; other free admission options are listed on is the museum free.

Strollers are not allowed in the galleries and must be left at the entrance, suitcases are prohibited, and lockers are available for medium-sized belongings. The private apartments have narrow rooms: a quiet time slot makes everything easier, and I list them on the best time to visit.
The tea salon and restaurant, located in the former dining room, can be accessed without a ticket, allowing for a seated break midway through your visit without having to leave or pay again.
